Brick Lane and Spitalfields will be included in a compilation of work by young journalists from abroad who visited the area as part of a tour orgnaised by the British Council
The 18 journalists called in at the Museum of Immigration and Diversity in Princelet Street, where they were greeted by Tower Hamlets Council leader Helal Abbas and Lonfon Assembley member John Briggs.
The visitors are focusing their study on what it means to be British, national identity and nationhood. And their anthology, when published will be distributed worldwide through the British Council network in 108 countries.Students and teachers from the Danish Unesco School also called in at the museum last week to find out more about the slave trade.
